Remarks

Instead of addressing a table by its Name, you can assign it an Table.Alias. The alias is used to refer to a table in calculations and summary values within the SELECT statement of a SQL string. By using aliases, it is possible to identify data tables that have similar names.

To learn whether or not a table has been assigned an alias, use the Table.HasAlias property.

The Table.ActualName property returns the current identifier of a data table (its name or alias).
