opCodeRush ClassicStartup

The options page contains the following options.

Load manually

If this option is checked, CodeRush Classic will not be loaded on the next Visual Studio startup. However, the Tools|Load DevExpress item will appear in the Visual Studio main menu. Use this item to load CodeRush Classic.

To unload CodeRush Classic manually, click the DevExpress|CodeRush|Unload main menu item.

Disable clipboard monitoring

Check this option to disable clipboard monitoring. If clipboard monitoring is disabled, the Clipboard Tools are also disabled.

Use the raw assembly load (prevents locking of plug-in assemblies)

This option enables you to load plug-in assemblies without locking them, which can be useful in a plug-in development scenario. Enabling this option allows you to build and test the loaded plug-ins without restarting Visual Studio.

Load plug-ins asynchronously

This option specifies whether CodeRush Classic loads plug-in assemblies in a separate thread or in the main thread.

Note

This product is designed for outdated versions of Visual Studio. Although Visual Studio 2015 is supported, consider using the CodeRush extension with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
