Keyboard Mapping

The Keyboard Mapping options page allows you to specify options for CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping Window.

The options page includes the following options.

Background color

Specifies the color of the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping window background.

 

Header color

Specifies the color of the window header.

 

Opacity

Specifies the window opacity.

 

The Action groups panel at the bottom part of the options page lists shortcuts shown on the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping Window and allows you to modify the list of shown shortcuts and specify its appearance options.

The shortcut list is located on the left part of the panel.

The Item properties tabbed page lists appearance options. The option list depends on the currently selected Action Groups item.

If the selected item is a group header, the Item properties table contains the following property groups.

Options group Description
Action Group Contains options that allow you to specify color, name, and availability of the selected action group.
Action Groups Contains font options for all action group items and headers.

If the selected item is a group item, the Item properties table contains the following property groups.

Action Groups Contains font options for all action group items and headers.
Action Key Contains options that allow you to specify the name of the current item.
Parent Group Contains an option that allows you to specify the parent group color.

The Shortcuts tabbed page enables you to add a shortcut to the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping Window.

The tabbed page includes the following options.

  • Target Group - specifies the parent group for the new item.
  • Target Command - specifies the command that should be added to the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping window.

    You can either choose the command from the combo-box or from the table.

  • Item Name - specifies the name of the item within the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping window.
  • The Add button - adds the specified item to the CodeRush Classic Keyboard Mapping window.

Use the KeyboardMappingButtons buttons to move the selected item up or down within the list and delete the selected item appropriately.

Note

This product is designed for outdated versions of Visual Studio. Although Visual Studio 2015 is supported, consider using the CodeRush extension with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
