ChartElementFormat.Exponential(Nullable<Byte>) Method

Displays numbers in exponential notation.

Specifies the number of digits in the fractional part of a mantissa value.

A ChartElementFormat enumeration value.

#Remarks

The Exponential method displays numbers in exponential notation, for example, 1 000 → 1E+3. You can use this method for axis and series labels. The following code snippet calls the method for the value axis of the Chart:

You can also use the precision parameter to specify the number of digits in the fractional part of a mantissa value. This parameter is optional. In the following example, precision is 3:
