ASPxDataInitNewRowEventHandler | A ASPxDataInitNewRowEventHandler delegate method allowing you to implement custom processing. |
Remarks
The initialization of a new row added to the GridView occurs when:
- the ASPxClientGridView.AddNewRow client method is called;
- an end-user clicks on the New command button.
Use the argument’s NewValues property to specify the values in the new row. Note that you can initialize values only for those columns that are visible within the Edit Form or In-Line Edit Row. To specify values of hidden columns, modify the properties of a model object passed to an action method specified via the MVCxGridViewEditingSettings.AddNewRowRouteValues property.
