MenuItem.ClientEnabled Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the menu item is enabled on the client.

Namespace: DevExpress.Web

Assembly: DevExpress.Web.v19.1.dll

Declaration

[DefaultValue(true)]
public bool ClientEnabled { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean **true**

true if the menu item is enabled; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Use the ClientEnabled property to specify the menu item’s initial ability to respond to end-user interactions (such as mouse hovering or clicks). An item’s availability state, defined via this property, can then be dynamically changed on the client side using the ASPxClientMenuItem.SetEnabled method.

Note

The ClientEnabled property is not in effect if the item is disabled on the server side by using the server MenuItem.Enabled property.
