Remarks

Once a template defined via the FilterCell property is created within a grid view control, it is instantiated within a container object of the GridViewFilterCellTemplateContainer type. This container object exposes a set of specific properties to which the template’s child controls can be bound.

To search for the server control contained within the FilterCell template, use the ASPxGridView.FindFilterCellTemplateControl method.

The FilterCell template can be overwritten at the column level by using the GridViewColumn.FilterTemplate property.
