Remarks

To provide a common template for displaying data cells within the ASPxTreeList, use the TreeListTemplates.DataCell property.

Once a template defined via the DataCellTemplate property is created within a control, it is instantiated within a container object of the TreeListDataCellTemplateContainer type. This container object exposes a set of specific properties to which the template’s child controls can be bound.

Note

By default, the ASPxTreeList takes data from the server side only for a newly expanded node but updates the HTML markup of all nodes. This can result in loss of the client state of controls placed in a template.
In this case, set the TreeListSettingsBehavior.DisablePartialUpdate property to true to prevent partial control updates.
