ASPxNavBar.EnableCallBacks Property

Gets or sets a value that specifies whether the callback or postback technology is used to manage round trips to the server.

Namespace: DevExpress.Web

Assembly: DevExpress.Web.v20.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Web

Declaration

[DefaultValue(false)]
public bool EnableCallBacks { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean **false**

true if round trips to the server are performed using callbacks; false if postbacks are used.

Remarks

Use the EnableCallBacks property to control whether round trips to the server can be performed either using standard postbacks (the whole page is refreshed) or the newly implemented callback technology. This behavior is controlled by the EnableCallBacks property of the navbar control. Round trips can be initiated by any end-user manipulation with the navbar’s elements. The necessity of posting back to the server side for further processing of the performed manipulation is specified by the setting of the ASPxNavBar.AutoPostBack property.
