Supported Formats

ASPxSpreadsheet supports the following file formats to import and export data.

• XLSX

  Microsoft Office Open XML format - the default file format of Microsoft Excel, starting with Microsoft Excel 2007. Note that correct functioning of XLSX files with a limited number of rows/columns is not guaranteed.

• XLSM

  Microsoft Office Open XML format with macro support.

• XLS

  Microsoft Excel 97-2003 binary file format.

• CSV

  Comma Separated Values - the plain text format using comma characters as separators between cells.

• TXT

  Tab Delimited Text - the plain text format using tab characters as separators between cells.
